If you watched "Roman Holiday" with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck you might remember the scene with la bocca della verita, or "mouth of truth" - an "ancient-day" lie detector. I ate lunch at the fountains 100 meters away from this site in April 2010 without realizing it was nearby - I won't miss it on my next trip there.
